Louis Dog Armstrong is a dog with a mission and he wants everyone to know it!
I am a dog with a mission. In fact, I am absolutely passionate about it. I think about it early in the morning and long into the dog day afternoon. I know you are wondering what it is, at least I hope that you are. So I will tell you.
My mission is to make this a better world for animals by educating humans and encouraging them to have positive, healthy relationships with members of the animal kingdom.
By the animal kingdom I’m not talking about all nine to ten million species because I’m just taking baby steps here. After all, I am only one little white dog and I don’t get any help, especially from the big orange cat I live with who ought to care more but he doesn’t. He just reaps the benefits from all my hard work.
But enough complaining. By animal kingdom I mean the furry ones, the winged ones and the other ones like frogs, snakes, fish, dragonflies and butterflies. I am a passionate dog and I want to share with the human world some of the things that I know. I’m also a fun dog so I hope to have fun while I do it. I don’t want to be too serious. Some dogs are always serious, like Clancy, a Scottie dog that I know, but that’s not me.
When I first started this dog blog it was more about how peeps could come to understand dogs by first understanding a dog like me. It was after William Faulkner who said, “To understand the world you must first understand a place like Mississippi.” Being a logical dog, I just thought it made sense to say, To understand dogs you must first understand a dog like me.”
By the way, most dogs don’t read William Faulkner and neither do I. But my peep loves the guy and she talks about him sometimes while I am lying around and listening.
Well, the Faulkner bit is why I first started blogging but I’ve learned a lot since then. I want peeps to understand dogs for sure, but I want to include the other animals as well. That’s the education part.
The relationship part is also important. I want to encourage humans to have positive, healthy relationships with animals.
So you see, I truly am a dog with a mission. Woof!!
